Kitchen display
Kitchen sees the same reality the floor sells.
Mesero KDS replaces paper tickets with a live view of orders, courses, modifiers, statuses and timing connected to POS, QR and online ordering. Less shouting, less paper and less missing context.
- Paperless
- Real time
- Courses
- Multi-screen
- Priorities
The paper ticket, replaced by a screen that updates itself.
The kitchen display (KDS) receives orders the moment they are sent. Cooks mark dishes as they go out, and the floor sees progress without walking in to ask.
- Zones by station. Each menu category sends its dishes to the zone you assign — Kitchen, Bar, Counter — or to All to see everything together. Drinks don't show up among the mains.
- Stations inside a zone. Grill, fryer, cold: each station sees only its own and doesn't read the whole order looking for its dish.
- Every channel, one queue. Floor, QR, your own online channel, kiosk and aggregators land on the same screen.

Every dish says where it stands.
New (just arrived), Preparing, Ready (waiting for the runner) and Served, each with its colour. A dish leaves the view once it is handed over.
- Courses and timing. Courses keep the real sequence of service instead of firing everything at once, and the time on each order flags the table that has waited too long.
- Sold out (86). From the display's stock control a product is marked sold out, and it disappears at once from the POS and from the QR menu.
Less paper. More usable context.
The kitchen does not need a pretty screen. It needs reliable information in the right order without re-entering tickets by hand.
Clear ticket
Notes, modifiers, source and priority reach kitchen without reinterpretation.

True real-time flow
Live updates and shared state keep every station aligned without a manual refresh.

KDS matters more when it does not stand alone.
Orders may come from staff, QR or online channels. Kitchen should not have to care where they started, only what to make and when.
With POS and QR
- One ticket flow for floor, bar and QR tables
- Fewer handoffs between devices
- Better coordination in mixed-service environments
With online and delivery

Kitchens handling multiple ticket sources at pace.
The more mixed the channels and the higher the volume, the clearer the return on moving to a real digital kitchen.
